Florida Panhandle Vacation Fun! Get the Most Out of Your Money by Renting a Vacation Home Rental
Few places can offer vacation-goers as wide a choice of options as Florida. With its mass amount of beaches, it can hard to tell which places will offer you all that you want. However, two beaches that are guaranteed to provide a great time are Seacrest Beach and St. Joe Beach located in the Florida Panhandle.
The beachside area of St. Joe is built on US Highway 98 in Florida, a short distance from Panama City. This tranquil, secluded area is perfect for vacationers looking for an unforgettable seaside holiday. St. Joe is small, but it's the ideal base for those looking to explore the Panhandle's eastern end. Choosing a St. Joe rental gives you more than just a sea view, however. Nearby Port St. Joe offers the opportunity to learn about the history of our early Native American, Spanish and French settlers and see the Monument, Constitutional Museum and historical Centennial Building for you. This makes St. Joe beach rentals a great way to combine relaxation and sun worshipping with sightseeing. Not to be forgotten are the wonderful seafood restaurants, which allow you to sample the delicious local delicacies (unless of course you have caught and grilled your own on your beachfront barbecue).
St. Joe Beach is a great place to vacation for all, from honeymooners who do not want to venture any further than the beach on the doorstep of their rental home, to large families who want to play on the beach and explore for entertainment and kid-friendly amenities. Many couples and families fall in love with the area and return year after year. A rental home is great for this type of vacation, because it gives you the comfort of a "home away from home" with all the facilities you need to make your stay go smoothly. Most properties come fully-equipped with all modern conveniences, including a television, DVD player and stereo as well as all a full range of kitchen appliances, such as washer, dryer, dishwasher, refrigerator and microwave. Additional features may include Internet access and an enclosed outdoor courtyard, perfect for barbecues or relaxing with a cool beverage on a balmy summer evening. Choose a house with its own private boardwalk, allowing you to wander down to the water's edge at any time of the day or night.
At the east end of Scenic Highway 30A, between Watersound and Rosemary Beach, lies Seacrest Beach, a residential community that is an ideal vacation spot for those looking for a little of everything: a relaxing environment, beautiful Florida scenery and a wide choice of recreational activities. Camp Creek Lake is one of the most popular destinations for holiday-makers; there is a great selection of Seacrest Beach rentals to meet the demands of vacationers who want to enjoy the white sandy beaches, swim in the Gulf of Mexico, bike or hike on the designated trails or just explore the local shops and dine in the quality local restaurants. Other popular activities also include tennis and fishing in the beautiful and scenic outdoors. Seacrest makes a great base from which to explore many nearby fishing spots, such as Choctawhatchee Bay. Whether you want to hire a guide or charter your own boat, you will not be disappointed with the variety and quality of the saltwater fish.
Seacrest Beach also offers some of the highest sand dunes on Highway 30A, allowing visitors to view dolphins swimming in the water. The area is ideal for golfers; Camp Creek golf club is also a great place to admire local wildlife. Deer Lake State Park is an area of undeveloped, impeccable beaches and lakes, perfect for a quiet day wandering through around 1,700 acres of vegetation. If you fancy a bit of retail therapy, the area has plenty of independent specialty shops from which you can pick up a souvenir or two. There is also a range of art galleries if you are in the mood for some culture during your trip.
Of course, many visitors to the area simply want to laze and unwind in the Florida Panhandle sunshine. A Seacrest Beach or St. Joe Beach rental is the ideal base for a truly relaxing beach vacation and gives you the comfort of a home away from home.

our FRIGIDAIRE "gallery" top-load washer one day quit agitating/spinning. timer still works and other noise?
it worked fine up until just one day...i still hear timer and also hear the USUAL whining noise that (to me) sounds like a motor coming from behind the timer ...but no agitation or spin...it does still empty if i advance the timer.
please: give me the top 2 or 3 most probable causes and the costs to get those fixed.
also: tell me if they are something i could fix, or if the repairman would need to come out.
note: i'm fairly good mechanically...not electronically.
also: just let me know if i should get a new washer...i've been told that calling out a serviceman can cost nearly as much as a new one ?
gracias!!
i would suspect first that the lid switch is bad. if the machine does not sense that lid is closed it will not perform either function.
