Choosing candle burners depends on the purpose and the situation. Adults can stick to the traditional candle oil burner or non-electric tart warmers to recreate the ambience of a spa. Furnace not lighting burner?
Rheem Furnae Hot Surface Ignitor glowing but not igniting burner. I replaced with a new HSI and flame sensor. When I replaced the new HSI, ignitor glowed bright and burner came on and all the other 4 burners lit and heat was going good for about 10 hours, then woke up and heat was off. Now the ignitor glows but doesnt light burner, cycles 3 times then shut off. I have check the wiring and everything looks good. I tried cleaning the burner as best as I could reach. Not sure what else it could be, gas valve? Appreciate any assistance.
Natural Gas is what is being used, it is pretty cold outside. I'll see what I can do with your guys solutions, anything else you can think of let me know
New Update, after a suggestion, I used a screwdriver to hit the gas valve while HSI was glowing and the burner lit up. Looks like it was stuck and this opened it up. Does this mean the gas valve is going bad?
quite possible its the thermal coupler. can be found at most hardware store and not too expendcive
