Brushed Nickel Bathroom Accessories
When choosing accessories for your bathroom; you may want something a bit more subdued than bright chrome for your fixtures and towel bars. While you may prefer metallic finishes; shiny gold plated or brass faucets and towel rings may be a bit too outdated for your taste. You can purchase pieces separately or as a bathroom accessory set. You will need hardware for the sink including the drain, a towel bar, a towel ring, a robe hook, and toilet paper holder. Provided you only need one of each of those things, it is quite a bit less expensive to buy in a set than separate purchases. They come in modern as well as traditional styles and you can often find cabinet hardware to match. Searching online takes some time but will save you quite a bit of money if you have the time.

does anyone know how to create a brushed nickel finish from chrome. I want to update my bathroom fixtures.?
Chrome is NOT nickel!!!
Nickel is NOT chrome!!!
You MUST replace the hardware, or to mimic brushed nickel a cheesy alternative would be to wire wheel your existing chrome (26) hardware. (but then you will have brushed chrome(626) as opposed to brushed (satin) nickel(619)
