Novel Ideas to Bring Bamboo Fencing into your Home

Bamboo has become a popular textile in the interior and exterior design world over the last decade because of the proven research that the quick growing grass has an organic appeal, environmentally friendly mindset and natural look. Bamboo fencing is one décor component that has become tremendously popular in interior and outdoor design. This class of fencing can be used as wall art, window shutters, room dividers and more.

Do some investigation online and get a list together of three to five of the most preferential websites that put a concentration on bamboo products. In the meantime, here are five ways to use bamboo fencing in and out of your home.

1.    Use a bamboo fence to put out of sight uninviting yard tools. Many backyards have outdoor furniture and items that have no other storage space than your alfresco living space. No matter what the product is, it adds an unlikable element to your space. Use bamboo to conceal these items or construct some sort of bamboo storage space to put these items away in an ordered way.

2.    Use bamboo to line the border of a room. While wallpaper has had a long supremacy of lining many walls in American residences, bamboo is becoming the modern front runner when it comes to coating a living quadrant. Several homeowners like the idea of bamboo embellishing their walls because it adds flair and texture to the room. Homeowners can feel like interior designers when they use bamboo as a decorative element all over their home. The product is fairly inexpensive and complements any space.

3.    Employ bamboo to create an attractive divider within your room. If your shared living or entertainment rooms are also the storage space to items that you wish weren’t also visible when friends are over, you can generate a hiding area for it with the use of this type of barrier. Decide how much of the room you want to fence off and use bamboo as a divider to hide the things in mind. This kind of divider is also a fun design idea for your work space because it creates privacy from the rest of the room and your home.

4.    This type of fencing can be used to construct window borders or shutters. In many traditional homes, white borders or shutters are often used to make darkness within a room. For a more untreated and raw sensation, have bamboo cut out with the exact size of your windows for a natural and organic looking pane.

5.    Tie up the bamboo to an already present fence. If you live in a contemporary home, you may be living with a sort of fencing that doesn’t suit your personal vision. Your yard may be already permanently fenced off with a metal chain link fence or wood paneling. To create a feeling of privacy and a far more striking look, tie up the bamboo to your current fence to add some allure and texture to your alfresco living area.

Is it possible to force bamboo to grow sprouts by cutting slightly into the plant?

I am NOT referring to creating two plants from one bamboo, but creating more sprouts on the same bamboo.

Yes, it is called aerial layering, and you can do this by cutting into the stem, and then covering the wound with peat moss and a plastic bag. The peat moss has to be damp and then leave it for 2-3 months, this will then sprout a new stem or even roots so you can divide.
